Only a blessed soul gets relief. A cursed soul suffers. All tries to get relief. Few get it. A person if dies suddenly then near and dear ones mourn. If a person suffers long then he becomes patient. Such a patient offers relief to the family members through death. Suicide offers relief to the deceased but it is a permanent pain to the relatives.

Be they fiction or non - fiction, literary forms are a channel that authors use to show a picture of the past, and present human life to suggest how the future would spring from the already gained experiences. Some of these authors are female writers who take interest in describing how people lived or live so that the audience can draw some needful lessons. In this study, the intent of the author is to clear up women voices on the painful situations they lived. The authors delve into two female writings viz Alice Walker’s epistolary novel ‘The Color Purple’ and Tsitsi Dangarembga’s bildungsroman ‘Nervous Conditions’. Driven by liberal feminist, and hinged on related studies involving the two authors, discussion measures two stories’ protagonists; Celie and Tambudzai (Tambu). It is noted that the two are victims of both gender and colour based violence rooted in colonization oppression and patriarchy. Despite considerable steps achieved to address this rampant issue in many parts of the world, it is high time women voices were heard.

One of the most frequent words in the Quranic surats isمَثَل (mathal), which is commonly employed to predict different meanings associated with conspicuous images, examples, and tales. Mathal gives various types of comparison so as to tackle perceived phenomena using significant and extraneous stuff like ant, spider or fly, etc. and hence abstract ideas could be mesmerized. This paper aims at detecting the different didactic senses that the word mathal displays in the Quranic verses aayas (verses), illustrating the purposes behind these senses. An investigation of didactic loads of the word mathal in the whole Quran is made. It concludes that mathal and its plural derivative amthal are used in Quranic surats to analogously express various meanings such as comparison, likeness, description, similitude, example and parable, in cases where two entities display something in common. The aim behind these meanings is to preach, guide, clarify or teach certain morals.

The language knowledge of students at HUHA is still very weak, they get many different mistakes related to grammar, vocabulary, coherence, etc. There are many causes coming from students themselves as well as from the teachers of English. But in general, teachers need to give students different kinds of exercises to practice, especially the ones that can help them recognize their popular mistakes in order to avoid when they write a paragraph.
