The purpose of this study is to explore the basic issues of managing students’ self-study activities at Van Hien University, Ho Chi Minh City; to correctly assess the current status of these activities, to point out the achievements, shortcomings and limitations; the causes of the weaknesses and limitations; from there, to propose solutions to improve the quality of managing students’ self-study activities at Van Hien University, contributing to improving the quality of education and training at Van Hien University. To achieve that goal, this study surveyed 207 managers, lecturers and students of Van Hien University. The survey results showed that managers, lecturers and students of Van Hien University had important assessments of students’ self-study activities and management of students’ self-study activities. However, some still do not have a correct perception of this activity, so this activity is still underrated and has not achieved good results. There are many objective and subjective reasons why this activity has not achieved good results. Based on the analysis and assessment of the current situation, compared with previous research results, this study recommends solutions to improve the quality of management of students’ self-study activities at Van Hien University, Ho Chi Minh City in the future

This study affirms the influence of integrating Blockchain & IoT technology on the effectiveness of (MIS), particularly in enhancing system performance and data security across selected institutions in the United Arab Emirates. Grounded in the DeLone and McLean Information Systems Success Model (2003), the study adopts a descriptive-analytical methodology utilizing both structured questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS V29, employing correlation and regression techniques. The findings reveal a strong and positive relationship between the implementation of Blockchain and IoT technologies and key MIS performance metrics. The study concludes with practical recommendations aimed at assisting decision-makers interested in adopting these technologies within institutional information systems.

This study aims to explore the advantages and disadvantages of distance learning in universities in the context of increasing demand for socialized learning. Theoretical and practical studies show that, in addition to the advantages of meeting the needs of regular learning, learning at any time and any place, distance learning also presents difficulties such as little interaction with teachers, little connection with members of the class, and a learning environment that does not stimulate the initiative and creativity of learners. To properly assess the advantages and disadvantages of distance learning in universities, based on theoretical references, this study surveyed 121 people who are managers, lecturers, and students teaching at several universities. Based on the survey results, combined with previous studies and assessments, comparing and contrasting the results achieved, analyzing the underlying causes, this study recommends solutions to promote favorable factors and overcome difficulties in distance education of universities in the context of increasing learning needs.

Abstract: This paper explores the important link between employees training and organisational performance. Training in organisations plays an important role to ensure steady growth and sustenance of organisational productivity through improving employees' knowledge, skills, and efficiency. A well-designed training programmes ultimately help employees stay updated with industry trends, fosters employee engagement leading to higher retention rates, hence, organisations that consistently invests in training exercises would probably encounter less challenges in adapting to changes in the environment. Effective training exercises enhances teamwork which drives organisational performance and productivity. The success and survival of any organisation is largely determined by the efficiency and effectiveness of services which the employees render to sustain organisational performance. Human Capital Theory was used to underpin the study which shows the positive impact of training on organisational performance. A review of current related literatures on the role which training activities play to improve and sustain organisational productivity as published in leading research journals were carried out. Two broad types of training were identified being Formal training and In-service training. Each of this broad divisions have attached variables and sub-variables that spelt out details how each training type or segment would be carried out and the methodology to adopt in imparting the knowledge. The study concluded that there is a positive relationship between employee training and organizational performance. Training has a positive effect on organisational performance and that organisations should not treat training as an expense item, but rather as an investment which will manifest in quality service and improved organisational productivity at a future period.

With a large young population, Bangladesh provides a "demographic dividend" for further economic development. But given rising youth unemployment, especially among educated people, the nation finds great difficulty using this potential. A main cause is a notable mismatch between the demands of the fast-changing labor market and the skills taught by the current educational and training programs. Many employees—including those in the unofficial sector—do not have sufficient technical or occupational credentials. Reducing human resource shortages, improving sustained employability, raising production, and supporting economic growth all depend on the development of skills. Based on the given sources, this review article investigates the effect of skill development programs on employment prospects for young people in Bangladesh, points up important issues and skill shortages, and offers suggestions for enhancing the efficacy of these projects for creating employment possibilities.

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the role of conflict management in enhancing the organizational work environment by examining the relationship between conflict management and the organizational work environment. The study adopts a descriptive-analytical approach, utilizing a questionnaire as the primary tool for data collection from a sample of 150 employees and academics from the University of Tikrit. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to test the relationships between variables and identify the key influencing factors. The findings revealed a statistically significant positive relationship between conflict management and the improvement of the organizational work environment. Effective conflict management was shown to contribute to enhanced collaboration, increased productivity, and support for a positive work environment. The results also emphasized the importance of management's role in supporting conflict management strategies and providing appropriate training to address challenges arising from conflicts in the workplace. The study recommends fostering a culture of constructive conflict resolution, training employees and leaders on effective conflict management strategies, and ensuring proactive and sustainable managerial intervention in handling conflicts.

This study examines the relationship between workplace happiness and magical thinking among academic staff at Samaraa University. Grounded in theories of positive psychology and cognitive flexibility, it explores whether emotionally supportive work environments enhance imaginative and non-linear cognitive styles commonly identified as magical thinking. Employing a quantitative descriptive correlational design, data were collected from 120 academic staff members via a self-administered online questionnaire. Two validated instruments—the Workplace Happiness Scale and the Magical Thinking Inventory—were utilized, both measured on 5-point Likert scales and demonstrating strong reliability (Cronbach’s alpha > 0.75). Data analysis using SPSS included descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and regression analysis. The findings revealed a statistically significant and strong positive relationship between workplace happiness and magical thinking. Furthermore, variations in these constructs were observed across demographic groups including gender, age, and years of experience. These results indicate that emotional well-being is a key predictor of imaginative cognition in academic contexts. The study recommends integrating emotional support and cognitive development strategies in faculty management to foster creativity and visionary thinking within higher education institutions.
