This is a qualitative case inquiry that sought to interrogate the adoption of the new primary school curriculum in Zimbabwe; with the broader goal of determining its implications for staff development and the delivery of quality education. The study is predominantly an extract of a PhD in Educational Management thesis that was submitted to Zimbabwe Open University in 2019; with the thesis aiming at appraising the effectiveness of primary school staff development programmes in Hwange District of Matabeleland North Province in Zimbabwe; in pursuit for quality education. In undertaking the current study, the author was conjointly assisted in the collection of data by the co-author of this article. For the purpose of attainability, the study was delimited to only five schools in the area under study. The target population of the study were primary school educators and the sample comprised of 30 educators (N=30), made up of 25 classroom practitioners (5 per school) and the head teacher from each of the 5 study sites. Purposive sampling was used to identify participants; while Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and Interviews were used to generate data. Consistent with phenomenological inquiries, data were analysed through interpretive phenomenological analysis (IPA); while findings were presented in summarised prose form. The key findings of the study were that the adoption of the updated curriculum had necessitated the need for teachers’ professional development in order to equip them with the necessary knowledge and pedagogic skills which they generally lacked considering that the teachers did not study new learning areas of the curriculum during their initial teacher training. In addition, there was lack of knowledgeable and competent facilitators in the new learning areas of the updated curriculum, hence, the inevitable need for staff development. The researchers concluded that the adoption of the updated primary school curriculum had been a major spur for staff development for teachers; hence, brought a new trajectory where teachers’ continuous professional development is a necessity rather than an option if quality education is to be realised. The researchers, therefore, recommend that the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (MoPSE) should sustain its support for the continual staff development of primary school teachers considering that the adoption of the new curriculum in Zimbabwe has important ramifications for the delivery of quality education.

This poem was consisted of 16 letters in Tcheonzamun of 913th-928th, and the theme of this poem is 'the husband and the wife', and especially on 'the unkind husband to his wife'. And there is a note for 685th-688th (勞謙謹勅). Until now, the present researchers tried during their translation to delete a part of each two letters from the 16 letters of Tcheonzamun. However, this time the researchers deleted as many as parts if possible from the Chinese characters. After this procedure, the researchers translated the Tcheonzamun poem with the remained parts. 913-916 Po Sa Ryo Hwan 布射遼丸 (The husband come again after his long-time absence) “Po Si Rag Hamyeon” (This means “There is a sound of my husband’s entering into our home.”) 917-920 Hye Geum Wan So (禾+尤+山) 琴阮嘯 “Zi Geum Wat So!“ (This means “Do you come here now?”) I say to my husband this parole, and I think naturally. 921-924 Nyeom Pil Ryun Zi 恬筆倫紙 (Am I trully necessary to my husband?) “TcheoumPut (Sarang) Inzi?” (This means “As the first grass which the grazing animal really likes to eat?”) 925-928 Gyun Gyo Im Zo 鈞巧任釣 (Or, am I unnecessary for my husband?)“Gun Geot (Sarang) Inzi?” (This means “As the eating between meals, am I not so important to my husband?”) There is a note for translation for 685-688 of Tcheonzamun (The thousand character essay). The present researcher’s thoght that there were two deletions of Chinese characters. The present researchers subtracted ‘Eon (言)’ from ‘Gyeom (謙)’ and it remained “hold an additional post (兼).” The researchers pulled out ‘Eon (言)’ from ‘Geun (謹)’, and it remained “small amount of (菫)”. So the translation is as follows; If you want to hold an additional post (兼) efficiently (勞), you should make the number of the secret codes (勅) less (菫).

Gender studies are one of the most recurrent themes in twenty-first-century literary debates and scholarly conferences. The recurrence of the theme accounts for the world’s intent to move forward for more inclusive approaches to address social matters. This being said, feminism finds itself to be an effective mode of expression for women and their advocates. Many forms of feminism have contributed to the debate but one of the most effective ways to defend women’s cause and nurture the ongoing debates over the issue is found in the field of literature. As such, this theoretical and critical article provides a survey of the concepts and movements of feminism that have become predominant in literature. The paper covers key facts of influences of Marxist theories on feminist and postcolonial movements/ writers showing a broad picture of reality. It takes into account poignant issues that feminist writers across Africa, America, Asia, and Europe have addressed. The paper comes up with the conclusion that these controversial debates have blended many theories and ideologies backed up by Marxist philosophy to uplift the social conditions of women.

In order for the Community Health Center to perform its functions optimally, it is necessary to have a good management of the Community Health Center organization which includes service performance, service processes, and resources used. This study aims to determine the implementation of the accreditation policy on the work productivity of the Community Health Center in the South Konawe Regency. This type of descriptive qualitative research with exploratory methods. The informants of this study were 12 informants at the Ranomeeto Community Health Center. To find out the implementation of the Community Health Center accreditation policy. Data analysis with an interactive model consists of three stages of data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. The results showed that the policy had been socialized at the level of health services in the South Konawe Regency to the respective Community Health Centers, the capacity of resources in terms of quantity was considered sufficient according to their competence in several Community Health Centers, limited health facilities and standardized health facilities. is still minimal, the communication element is that the Public Health Center staff in South Konawe Regency have participated in and held socialization related to accreditation policies, Public Health Center officials are also active in sharing knowledge so that it is expected that the implementation of the accreditation policy as an effort to encourage the performance of Community Health Center officials to be good and directed. It was concluded that the implementation of the accreditation policy could spur productivity in the performance of the Public Health Center staff. It is expected that the Ranomeeto Community Health Center can maintain what has been achieved during the accreditation process, and carry out regular work productivity measurements.

A whistleblower is a person who exposes any kind of illegal activity in our society and plays a crucial role in providing information about corrupt practices in any organization. Whistleblowers in our society are also exposed too much harassment in public life although protection is provided to them by law. United States civic activist Ralph Nader is said to have coined the phrase, but he, in fact, put a positive spin on the term. The whistleblower's protection Act, 2014 provides a mechanism for receiving and inquiring into public interest disclosures against the act of corruption, willful misuse of a power of discretion or criminal offense by public servants. The whistleblowers' protection (amendment) bill,2015, prohibits the reporting of a corruption-related disclosure if it falls under any ten categories of information-economic, scientific interest, the security of the nation, cabinet proceeding, intellectual property and that received in a fiduciary capacity. It is felt that these restrictions on whistleblowers make the exposure of scams in Indian administration impossible.

The study starts with an introduction about the poet, then shifts to the next main point – critical-analytical description of the three-stanza poem, illustrating its style, themes, symbols, and the study ends with a brief conclusion and recommendation if there is any.

Urban railways play a huge role in urban transport. Over the past years, traffic congestion in two major cities of Vietnam, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City has often occurred, adversely affecting the development of the two cities in particular and of the whole country in general. This study focuses on analyzing the urban railway connection when completed and put into use, the difficulties that will be encountered at the same time as new opportunities are opened and its impact on urban space of the two largest cities in Vietnam are Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. However, due to the condition of this time, the study focused only on the urban railway of Hanoi - the capital of Vietnam.

This study is part of a doctoral thesis aimed at developing and validating a theoretical-based model to investigate factors influencing utilisation of Research4Life databases in National Agricultural Research Institutes (NARIs) in Nigeria. Research4Life databases are underutilised in the NARIs in spite of their importance in agricultural research. To enhance their utilisation, an appropriate model was required. This study developed and validated the Utilisation of Research4Life Database Model (URDM) made up of 22 independent constructs. Some constructs from Diffusion of Innovation; Technology Acceptance Model; Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology, and Technology, Organisation and Environmental models were adopted and others introduced to develop the model. To validate the model, the study adopted the descriptive survey design of the correlational type. Simple and stratified random sampling techniques were used to select 744 (62%) scientists from a population of 1,205. A validated and pre-tested questionnaire consisting of 105 questions arranged in five sections A – E with 0.99 reliability coefficient based on Cronbach alpha method was used for data collection. Simple percentage, mean, correlation, multiple regression and analysis of variance were used to analyse the data. All the 23 formulated hypotheses were significant. The 22 independent factors showed direct positive relationship with utilisation of the databases. Overall, the URDM accounted for 67% level of utilisation of Research4Life databases in NARIs. Thus, the model is adequate for investigating factors influencing utilisation of Research4Life databases in Nigeria. The findings of this study contributed to the literature by validating the URDM in NARIs in Nigeria.

This study investigated the relative contributions of demographic characteristics influencing utilization of John Harris Library, University of Benin (UNIBEN) by undergraduate students. A four point likert scale instrument with 35 questions was used to collect data. Seven questions were on demographics, ten questions on utilization of the library while 18 questions were on factors influencing utilization of the library. Respondents consist of 243 undergraduates at different levels of their studies. Data collected were analyzed using frequency distribution, percentage, mean, Pearson Product Moment Correlation, regression analysis (ANOVA). Results revealed that there is high and significant level of utilization of the library among the undergraduate students of the university. Demographic characteristics (academic discipline, level of study, gender and age) made collective significant contribution to the use of the library. Level of study made significant relative contribution towards utilization of the library. Efforts should be put in place by the managers of the library to sustain this result and improve on it.

Formal education is subject to a confluence of factors that determine academic achievement of learners in primary schools based on teachers’ perceptions. The study was conducted using descriptive survey research design in Hamisi Sub-County in western Kenya. A sample of 110 teachers was obtained using simple random sampling strategy. The data was collected using questionnaires that were self-administered by the respondents. Chi-square test was used to determine the significance of the associations between the variables (p>0.05). Data was analysed using SPSS (version 25) software. The results showed that there were significant associations between teachers’ perception of learner’s family economic status (p>0.351) and family size (p>0.066) and their academic performance. No significant association existed between teacher perception of learners’ religious affiliation and their academic performance. Pearson’s correlation tests showed no linear correlation between the academic performance and religion, family economic status and family size (r<0.5). The study findings demonstrate that the way teachers’ perceive the social contexts of their learners may have a great bearing on their judgement of their learners’ academic performances, hence possible bias towards some of the learners based on the social perceptions they hold of the learners.

The importance of asset management in the Department of Health in achieving optimal health services in Puskesmas, the asset management process in the form of medical devices needs to be monitored to find out weaknesses and strengths in the implementation of its operations. This study aims to analyze how the planning and procurement of medical devices in the Jeneponto District Health Office. This research is a qualitative research with indepth interview method. The number of research subjects were 7 informants selected by purposive sampling technique. The data is analyzed through three stages namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing, validity testing using source triangulation techniques and theory. The results showed that in the planning of medical devices according to procedures but not supported by medical equipment calibration budget, procurement for medical devices was in accordance with procedures but there was no stock of medical devices available in the distributor / distributor resulting in a medical device vacancy. It is recommended to the health department to increase the budget for planning the maintenance of medical devices that will be calibrated and in the procurement of goods should ensure the availability of medical devices in the health department so that they can be distributed and anticipate the emptiness of medical devices in health centers by providing a Buffer Stock.

Puskesmas (Community Health Center) are workplaces that have occupational safety and health risks to health workers. The level of occupational safety and health risks can be significantly minimized by implementing safety behaviors. This study aims to determine the effect of OSH training (Occupational Health and Safety) based on the introduction of potential hazards to the safety behavior of officers. An observational study was conducted to identify potential hazards as training material as well as quasi-experimental experiments on 20 health workers who took injection actions at the Puskesmas in February - April 2020. Data were collected using an observation checklist sheet. There are 5 potential hazards in the low-risk category, 12 potential moderate risks and 18 potential high-risk hazards in the Wolasi puskesmas. Furthermore, there was a statistically significant effect between interventions before and after the intervention in terms of the use of personal protective equipment (p = 0,000) and the use of equipment and equipment (p = 0.003). While there was no statistically significant effect between intervention and after the intervention in terms of the respondent's work position (p = 0.164). According to the results of this study, training based on the introduction of potential hazards increases officer safety behavior.

This study focuses on analyzing world religions in Vietnam such as Buddhism, Roman Catholicism, Protestantism, Islam, and at the same time studying Vietnamese religions and the religious life of Vietnamese people in the process of receiving and integrate with world religions when being spread into Vietnam. This study shows that Vietnam is a very open country to world religions. When world religions spread into Vietnam, they quickly harmonized with indigenous religious life, forming a special feature in the religious life of Vietnamese people.

HR planning is a systematic process used to predict the demand and supply of HR in the future. The purpose of this research is to analyze the implementation of the human resource management process in terms of the planning, recruitment and selection system at the East Halmahera Regency Health Office. This type of research is qualitative research. Informants in this study are structural officials of the East Halmahera Regency Health Office including 2 district heads, 3 heads, 9 section heads, 2 Community Health Center heads plus 1 structural officer who is competent to provide information regarding research objectives, while the department head has the role as a key informant who is a policymaker at the health service level. The results showed that the planning of health human resources in the East Halmahera Health Service did not meet the requirements both in terms of number, types, and qualifications of education in terms of recruitment of health human resources could not answer the required number, type and qualifications of education based on the analysis of personnel needs and based on health HR Selection in the East Halmahera Health Office it is not implemented properly in the HR management process. Need to improve the process of human resource management in East Halmahera Health Office so that it can meet the requirements both in terms of number, type, and qualifications of education.

The paper explores lessons and the possible ways to control the Covid19 pandemic in Vietnam. It focuses on an integrated approach to fight fatal disease, includes the extensive use of tracing, testing, and treatment (T3). They have a strategy slogan like Leave no one left behind and adopted a multi-sectoral response plan. The Vietnam government has provided personal protective measures for frontline warriors and subsidy for poor people’s livelihoods.

Belief plays an important role in the spiritual life of Vietnamese people. This research indicates that there are many folk beliefs in Vietnam. These are beliefs created by people in their own lives. Through the process of existence and development, these beliefs have become an integral part of the spiritual life of Vietnamese people. Based on the analysis and evaluation of belief activities, the study shows the values that these beliefs bring to human life.

Democracy which is conceived as a system that gives periodic opportunities for the masses to choose their leaders has a lot to do with the rights of citizens in the society. It guarantees individual’s right of existence and promotes total participation of people in governance, while ensuring equality to all people. The debates about the role of human rights in the promotion of democracy and democratic practices, is in consonance with the degree to which there should be massive participation in the election/electoral practices in Nigeria. Therefore the extent to which human rights play positive or negative roles in Nigerian democratization process depends on the existing institutions in discouraging electoral irregularities such as violence, thuggery and in encouraging or facilitating mass participation which aims at ensuring transparency, free, fair and credible elections. This paper adopts relative depravation as a theoretical framework to argue that Nigeria’s democratic practices have no respect to human rights but a promotion of electoral violence, thuggery, snatching of ballot boxes and killing of people. The materials for his paper were sourced from secondary data. The paper concluded that weak institutions entrenched in Nigeria’s democracy promotes electoral violence, the spate of which led to human rights abuse in Ebonyi State. Hence the paper recommended that the institutions that allow for the practice of democracy should be judicially reviewed to discourage politicians from perpetuating electoral violence.

Vietnam is one of four Southeast Asian countries with great potential in developing both infrastructure and logistics systems. On February 14, 2017, the Prime Minister signed Decision No. 200/QD-TTg promulgating the Action Plan to improve competitiveness and develop Vietnam's logistics services until 2025, expressing the concern of the Government for a very important sector of the economy. The study shows that human resources are the most difficult problem of the Logistics industry today, due to its rapid development, the human resources of this industry are both lacking and of poor quality. On the basis of surveying the current status of human resources in the logistics industry, the article proposes solutions to develop human resources to help improve the competitiveness of Vietnam's Logistics in the global service chain.

Corruption and anti-corruption are a long-standing social phenomenon in human history. In particular, since the second half of the twentieth century, corruption has emerged as a malignant disease outbreak, threatening the economy, culture and morals of mankind, with great devastating and preventing the development of the nation. In this article, the author gives an overview of the situation, scale and harms of corruption to the development of society; in the fight against corruption in recent years in our country. According to the author, the effectiveness of the fight against corruption in our country is not high because the dosage of anti-corruption measures is still not strong enough, not aiming to win a breakthrough. That breakthrough, as the author thinks, is to strictly punish corrupt people, especially those who are party members - officials.

Based on the quality signal and trust theory, this article constructs the crowdfunding financing process, summarizes and selects the important financing factors form the perspective of investors investment process, collects data from famous crowdfunding platforms in China, and empirically analyzes the factors influencing the successful financing of the crowdfunding projects. The empirical results show that the number of project pictures, the minimum amount of investment, the number of updates, the number of reviews, the number of backers and the backers of minimum amount of investment all positively and significantly affect the project’s successful financing. This study is helpful to improve the successful financing rate of crowdfunding projects and promote the development of crowdfunding industry in China.

This study aims to analyze the influence of external control factors on management taxation policy, especially tax avoidance. The fact that many cases of tax avoidance occur in Indonesia as well as in other ASEAN countries encourage researchers to try to analyze the level of entity tax avoidance from external control factors consisting of independent commissioners and audit quality. Using a multiple regression approach with a random effect model and STATA software, this study found that audit quality has a negative effect on tax avoidance, while independent commissioners do not. These results explain that the supervisory role of the external auditor in assessing the procedures for preparing the company's financial statements has a good impact, namely that it can affect management in reducing tax avoidance.

This study focuses on analyzing Ho Chi Minh’s view on the need for national unity, the role of national solidarity for the Vietnamese revolution and the application of this ideology by the Communist Party of Vietnam in the current period.
