The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the relationship between physical work environment and worker’s productivity of selected small and medium scale enterprises in Oyo, state. Two objectives and hypotheses each were formulated for the study. Data was acquired through the administration of a structured questionnaire that highlighted some of the factors related to influence of the workplace on employee productivity. This was administered to one hundred and twenty (120) workers randomly selected from a population of One Hundred (100) SMEs in Oyo state. One hundred and sixteen (116) workers responded. Respondents were from various categories ranging from frontline production, marketing, sales and administrative personnel. The data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics The results of the study reveal that there was a statistically significant correlation between physical environment/ ergonomics of the workplace and productivity of small- scale enterprises with the value equal to r (116) =.296, p<.0.05.. Similarly, there was a statistically significant positive correlation between social interaction in the workplace and productivity with the value equal to r (116) =.663, p<.05. Based on the findings, it was concluded from the study that the two variables tested have relative noteworthy impacts on the productivity of workers in Oyo State. The study recommends that i. If at all possible, changes should be included into the design and layout to adjust the location to suit different types of personnel.

The principle point of each organization is to support competitive advantage and viewed as compelling between the requests of different partners and the needs of the employees. Leadership is defined as the ability to articulate a vision, persuade people to achieve outcomes, promote teamwork, and set an example. This study examined transformational leadership and skills which promotes autonomy, fosters relevance, accountable and self-aware on the other hand organizational productivity was also examined and factors like motivation, commitment, innovation/ creativity and profitability were discussed. Literature review method was employed to gather relevant information concerning leadership and organizational productivity. The study concluded that there is positive relationship between leadership skills and productivity in the organization. The study therefore recommended that leaders should learn how to manage relationships and communicate with subordinates /employees freely by valuing their talents and contributions they make to the organization.

The main aim of this study is to examine Management by Objectives as an instrument for improving organizational productivity. Management by objectives is a prominent management technique that cuts across or pervades all human activities, including business, education, government, health care, and non-profit organizations. It is not merely a managerial strategy for achieving well-coordinated managerial goals. Unfortunately, many firms have yet to use this strategy for gaining employee engagement and support. Subsequently, the objective of this research is to look into the connection between objective management and organizational production. More specifically, this paper intends to understand and describe the idea of management by objective (participation, goal setting and performance appraisal) and how it affects organizational productivity vis-à-vis market share and profitability. This study was conducted using the qualitative approach framework which include the review of related literatures in regards to the topic using journals, textbooks and other related document. From the discussion of findings, it was concluded that for any organizations to be productive and achieve sustained success, it must continuously encourage management by objective since it is very essential in attaining and sustaining organizational productivity. We recommended among others that managers should involve employees in setting and identifying short and long-term departmental goals.

Inflation is an essential issue in the economy. Many countries try to target inflation to reduce the erosion of savings for citizens, so many researchers have focused on this topic. The current study attempts to determine whether the news or an unexpected change in the consumer prices index basket affects the volatility of the prices asymmetrically. The result shows that four of twelve sectors are not affected by the news, either because they have a constant variance or because of the not significance of EGARCH. The rest sectors show different responses to high price news and low-price news either by magnitude or signs. Generally, we can notice that high prices with significant negative shocks have a more massive effect on future fluctuation. The shocks that affect its future fluctuation are positive and negative for low prices.

This study aims to find out how the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on e-commerce businesses, especially on changes to the logistics system for e-commerce businesses in Indonesia, and to find out strategies to overcome these problems. This study used a qualitative method with observations, interviews, and FGDs. The research subjects are e-commerce business people, logistics practitioners, and staff of shipping service companies. The results show that the COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact not only on the Indonesian economy as a whole but also on the e-commerce business. The industrial, trade, and transportation & warehousing sectors experienced negative growth. E-commerce business players made various changes in the e-commerce business logistics system to adapt and survive the situation in the new normal era. Before the covid-19 pandemic, e-commerce business players had suppliers with different numbers depending on the needs of each business. The challenges and obstacles faced by the e-commerce logistics system in the new normal era were changes in consumer buying behavior and logistics inefficiency. E-commerce business people are advised to conduct regular market research to find out changes in consumer behavior patterns, consumer characteristics in the new normal era, and of course their preferences for products.

Selecting team is one of the important issues in football. The role of a coach is selecting players that are formed subjectively without regard to various criteria. Her decision can impact team performance. Thus, this paper presents a new methodology to assess and rank football team based on multi-criteria decision making (MCDM). The aim is to select the best team for each football game by taking several criteria into account. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is used to determine the weightings for evaluation criteria among decision makers and Case-based reasoning systems to selecting the best team. We test the efficiency of the model using Paris Saint Germain champion’s league final.
