Abstract
This paper delves into the life, works, and contributions of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, a towering figure in Indian history and a key architect of socio-cultural democracy. Ambedkar's multifaceted journey, from being an untouchable in colonial India to becoming the chief architect of the Indian Constitution, reflects his relentless pursuit of social justice, equality, and democracy. Through his writings, speeches, and political activism, Ambedkar challenged the entrenched caste system, advocated for the rights of marginalized communities, and envisioned a society based on principles of liberty, equality, and fraternity. This paper examines Ambedkar's ideas on democracy, social reform, and the role of education in empowering the oppressed. It also explores his enduring legacy in contemporary India and beyond.
