French Missionary Dallet (1874) wrote in his book that the thousand character essay has been utilized as a textbook for the Chinese children for learning Chinese characters. In Korea, the book is called as Tcheonzamun(千字文) in Korea (Han, 1583). The meaning of Tcheonzamun is the thousand(千) character(字) essay(文). Dallet (1874) described that there are many differences between China and Korea, for example, the origin of the people, language. In general, this great book was translated in the view-point of Chinese people (Han, 1583). However, recently, several researchers tried to translate Tcheonzamun poem on Korean version (Park et al., 2021; Kim, 2023). There are several methods for Tcheonzamun translation. The first method is through Korean pronunciation of Chinese characters (Kim, 2023). The second one is on the meaning of Chinese characters on Tcheonzamun (Park et al., 2021). The third method is through the deletion of the part(s) of Chinese characters, and the translation will be done with the remained part(s) (Kim, 2023). In the present study, the researchers tried to translate the poem on the basis of the meaning of Chinese character (Park et al., 2021). The present work concerns the translation of Tcheonzamun poem (Tcheonzamun 433rd-448th). The title of this study is ‘My husband! Please regard me, your wife, in the right direction(對)! At that time, I will be shown as the superior(楹) and the beautiful(帳)! My husband! You can see my natural and favorable(甲) figure! (Tcheonzamun 433rd-448th)’. The next is the result of this study. <Number in Tcheonzamun. Chinese character (Pronunciation shown in Korean language on English alphabet)>. 433-436 圖(Do) 寫(Sa) 禽(Keum) 獸(Soo). My husband! Are you going to take(圖) the picture(寫) of the bird(禽) and of the animal(獸)? 437-440 畵(Hwa) 彩(Tchae) 仙(Seon) 靈(Lyeong). My husband! I(your wife) hope that you will draw(畵) the picture(彩) of the Splendid(靈) and Great Angel(仙)! 441-444 丙(Byeong) 舍(Sa) 傍(Bang) 啓(Gye). My husband! Even though the picture were the splendid masterpiece. When you see it on the view point of the side direction(傍) or on the uninteresting attitude, what will be the result? My husband! The masterpiece will be considered as the common thing(丙). It is the common thing which anybody(啓) can make without any great effort(舍). 445-448 甲(Gab) 帳(Zang) 對(Dae) 楹(Yeong). My husband! Please regard me, your wife, in the right direction(對)! At that time, I will be shown as the superior(楹) and the beautiful(帳)! My husband! You can see my natural and favorable(甲) figure!.
